The Kitzbuhel Casino opened a long time ago - on December 22, 1934. The establishment was the third Austrian casino, after Baden and Salzburg. Then there was a gap in the history of the gambling house, as it was closed for 16 years. The new opening was in the winter season of 1954. At that time, two tables for French roulette and one for baccarat were in operation.

The casino is housed in an old house built in 1274. The building is one of the most attractive in the city and has been family-owned for more than 100 years.
