City of Dreams Casino story

The idea for CoD was born from Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited in the Philippines.
The venue was built in 2009, with Zaha Hadid Architects handling the project. Part of the property was opened in June 2009.

014 was marked by the construction of a 40-story hotel-casino. In addition, the complex includes Casino City of Dreams, Hard Rock Hotel Gaming Area, and Signature Club.

In late 2016, Lawrence Ho unveiled the fourth Morpheus Hotel. It was slated to open in 2018. The project was estimated at $1.1 billion.

Some buildings were renamed: Hard Rock Hotel became The Countdown and Crown Towers became Nüwa.

CoD is the title sponsor of Matthew Marsh in the 2008 Macau Guia race. Atrium management arranged for Matthew Marsh to visit the non-profit organization Fountain of Hope.

The impressive parameters of the three casinos totaling more than 39,000 square meters allow gambling enthusiasts to choose the right table or machines.

The City of Dreams zone is located on the first floor and has an area of more than 14,000 square meters. Here you can find 270 gaming tables with minimum bets starting from 50 Hong Kong dollars (HKD). Table games include baccarat, 3-card baccarat and blackjack, roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, three-card Fortuna Poker, Sic Bo, and Texas Hold'em Poker. Among the machines you can choose both traditional Asian and modern ones. The minimum bet starts at 0.05 HKD and the maximum bet is 5,000 HKD.

Countdown has another gaming area on the second floor with a total area of more than 3,000 square meters. 193 machines are available, including Live Dealer eBaccarat.

Signature Club is located in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Macau. It has a total floor area of 1,500 square feet. The facility is available to members only. The VIP room offers table games and machines.
The Morpheus also has a small playing field and private areas.

There are 2,270 total rooms.

The gaming halls are open to visitors over 21 years of age. There is a dress code on the territory. About 30 restaurants, bars and nightclubs are open in the entertainment complex. You can walk through boutiques and stores.

How to get City of Dreams Casino

Macau International Airport can be reached by car in 10 minutes, while the sea ferry terminal is a 20-minute drive away. A free shuttle service is available from the ferry terminal and the airport to the atrium.

There are two routes by car: Pte. da Amizade and Av. Wai Long or Av. dos Jogos da asia Oriental. Travel time will take up to 25 minutes. 35-40 minutes is enough to get a bus from either stop. Walking to the complex is not worth it, as it will take about 7 km (one and a half hours).

• Din Tai Fung is for fans of Taiwanese fine dining.
• Jin Ying is Chinese cuisine with an extensive menu.
• Northern Noodle House is located on the floor next to the casino. It serves Chinese cuisine.
• Yi has won a Michelin plate. The food here is amazing and reasonably priced.
• Voyages by Alain Ducasse - international cuisine, French desserts. Michelin plate winner.
• Mezza9 is a unique institution where food is offered buffet-style.

Macau's leading junket operator has opened the Suncity VIP Club. The design and services have been updated and the world's first indoor golf course has been created. The area is located on the second floor at Nüwa.

In 2018, the investor company announced a renovation of the VIP lounge. It was scheduled to open in 2019. The buildings are also awaiting a major interior renovation with completion in 2021.

The world-famous online poker room with cash games called PokerStars LIVE was held at CoD. Asia Pacific Poker Tour poker tournaments were held at the casino.
