The Ponte 16 Resort is located in the western part of the Macau Peninsula in the Santo António District. The project was developed by SJM Investment Limited and Sociedade de Jogos de Macau. The hotel-casino opened on February 1, 2008.

The complex includes a 20-story hotel with 408 comfortable rooms, as well as various bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, a gym, a wellness center and a conference room.

The casino is operated by Success Universe under an SJM license. The first floor is equipped with the main mass of tables and part of the machines. The second and third floors are VIP areas. Grand Palace's private junket operates on the second floor in the Bordeaux Room. It consists of six $1,000 tables and two $10,000 tables. They offer a 1% cashback and you need to accumulate more than $10,000 in a month to qualify. The remaining nine tables belong to Ponte 16 with minimum stakes ranging from $500 to $10,000.

A $5,000 buy-in entitles you to a 1% cashback and an additional 0.1% rebate. VIP players with consistent activity who bet more than $5,000 are eligible to rent accommodations at the Sofitel at a discounted rate.
