In 1988, businessman Charles Heard purchased about 28 acres of land. By then, he already owned the Vacation Village resort in Las Vegas. In 1997, Heard approached the owner of the nearby Ellis Island Casino & Brewery with an offer to take over the hotel.

The Tuscany Suites & Casino began construction in January 2001. The Italian-inspired luxury hotel opened in December 2001. It had 716 magnificent rooms. The developer of the project was Inland Empire Builders. After 2 years a 5600 square meter casino was opened, targeting not only locals but also tourists. There were 800 machines and 8 table games in the gambling area. Also in 2003, a 3,700 square meter convention center was completed. The project was estimated at $100 million.

The atrium was owned not only by Hirs, but also by contractor Gaylord Yost and CMH Real Estate Development Inc. In 2004, negotiations were initiated with the owner of a neighboring resort to discuss combining the two atriums. Charles Heard backed out of the deal after learning that the owner of Ellis Island had no intention of combining the properties, but planned to sell his resort.

• Tuscany Gardens Italian Restaurant serves mouthwatering steaks and savory appetizers, seafood, veal, classic Italian dishes, homemade pastas with famous sauces. It has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and according to What's On Magazine, it is the best restaurant. The establishment ranks fourth on the list of the most romantic places in Las Vegas.
• The remarkable Pub 365 is so named because it features a collection of 365 craft beers. The pub offers a variety of homemade appetizers, burgers, and tacos. Guests can appreciate not only the beer, but also the house wine.
• Winner of Best of Las Vegas 2018, 2019 and 2020: Best Coffee House Cafe Bottega is decorated in Italian style. It offers delicious entrees, pastries, sandwiches, and a must - freshly brewed coffee.

Loyalty program

The Tuscany Players Club loyalty program has just one level, unlike other casinos where players earn points to move up to higher tiers. Membership in the program is simple and completely free, and members must be at least 21 years old.
