Usage area

This slang word is common in real casinos in some regions of the post-Soviet space. It came from the English language.

Description

Float – a container for storing game chips on the table. It has the form of a closing box with grooves for chips.

It is located in front of the dealer in a special cutout on the table surface. Usually, the fleet is removable, so that the chips can be easily removed to the cash register or other office space.

As a rule, the croupiers spread chips in the fleet in stacks of twenty chips of the same denomination. In this case, stacks are built on the value of the chips.
