How to Play Vegas Single Deck Blackjack (Microgaming)

Vegas Single Deck Blackjack is an American single deck blackjack, played with 52 cards and no jokers.

All cards are shuffled before each deal. The game features no shoe.

The goal is to beat the dealer by getting a higher score.

As usually, you need to get a hand as close to 21 as possible but never exceed. You can also win if the dealer busts or by the insurance.

We have discussed the basic rules of American blackjack in one of the articles at Casinoz.club. Please check out the significant features of this game below.

Dealer

  • The dealer deals two cards to himself, one of them face-up.
  • If the face-up is an ace, king, queen, jack or ten, the dealer peeks for blackjack.
  • If the dealer ends up with a blackjack, the player can't take any more cards.
  • The dealer stands on hard 17 and hits on soft 17.

Splits

  • Split is allowed but only once.
  • Splitting of any 10-value cards is possible.
  • You get to draw only one card after split aces.
  • A combination of an ace and 10 made after split aces is considered a 21, not a blackjack.

Doubles

  • Double is allowed on hard 9, 10 and 11.
  • Double is allowed on the first two cards only.
  • Double is not allowed after splits.

Other

  • No surrender.
  • Insurance is suggested upon an ace on the dealer's hand.

Pays

  • Regular hand – 1:1.
  • Blackjack – 3:2.
  • Insurance – 2:1.

Charlie rule is not valid here.

This blackjack features a simple clean, but stylish design. The developers avoided imaging a dealer, as well as traditional rack and shoe. All important information is marked in the center of the table for the player's convenience. The animation is realistic.
